Spring Break? No, just a week of being sick where I didn't miss any classes

Isn't that just the way it goes? A whole week where I could just relax and catch up on my readings of journals, and I spend four days in bed sick. Then, lovely old man winter swamps Denver and all the city goes into panic. Its the same story every time it snows. That was the day we decided to go grocery shopping, since no one was out. Didn't have to deal with lines.

I am working on getting a paid internship this summer. That is so important, the paid part. Especially in this day and age. I honestly would have done it without getting paid, but since the economy sucks getting paid to do what I want to do is a plus.

Mollie is looking forward to the summer. She really wants to spend summertime with friends and family, and of course outdoors! She wants to go camping, hiking, fishing, photo safari in areas where she has never been. I wonder where we are going to find the time.

I am looking forward to summer because otherwise, it seems like this semester is never going to end!!!!!!!!

Right now, we are doing an overview of the Southwest in Archaeology of North America. The time line still needs updating, but otherwise it seems to be a good thing right now. From here, we are supposed to go into the eastern part of North America.

I can't wait until this semester is over. I really need to have time away from the classroom. The funny thing is, about three weeks into summer, I am going to be wishing for school work. I think I will sign up for some online classes to fix that.

Off to the Southwest!! Need to pay attention in class!
