Standard black and white maps are run around $100. The blade illustrations depend a bit on how many pieces and how complex they are. A full color cover usually runs $1200 but since this is a do it your self kind of project I will give you the cover for half price. We are looking at a total of around $1,000 which can be paid as each image is finished.
Have you found a publisher yet? You might be able to get an advance. A friend of mine wrote a book adapting ancient rituals for modern day use. A sort of New Age meets archaeology. She got an advance of $50,000 for her little book.

- Yes, I do book illustrations. Costs depend on what kind of drawings are needed, how many, etc. Send me a bit more info on your project and we'll figure out how to move ahead.
