About Me:
I'm a zooarchaeology Ph. D. student at Rutgers University with interests in the near entirety of the human past. I suppose more realistically are my interests in medieval/colonial foodways, the global mercantile system, and the related material.

No, I didn't get a chance to, sadly. I did have the opportunity to work with Stan Walling though. Peter Siegel is the current archaeologist. =)

Bummer about the decline of NJ... you'd laugh at how the whole of the DC metro area freaks out at a forecast of 2 inches of snow. Seems like so many people end up teaching expos, that sounds like herding cats. I have heard from Rob in TZ, he's a co-author on a paper I'm writing right now.

I am still working on Kenyan material, that's the basis of the research part of my post-doc - I've only done maybe 40% of the Olorgesailie Member 1 data collection - we're biting our nails daily. The violence has "calmed down", but now that Kofi Annan has pulled out of the negotiations and the opposition is calling for more protests, it doesn't look good. By Clinton, you mean Janet Jackson... easy to confuse them... :)

Hey Adam! Are there a lot of Rutgers (or ex-Rutgers) folks on here? I just joined... Yep, I'm actually still in the field. Life in DC is *great*, thanks! What about you? How's everything in NJ?

Hi Adam,

Welcome to ArchaeologyNet. Looks like we're getting quite a Zooarchaeology group going here. What is the structure in the background on your profile picture?
