I am sorry that this reply is so late. I usually respond right away to my messages, but your posting came at an unusually busy time for me and somehow it managed to "fall through the cracks" until this morning. Alexandra is correct in pointing you a program in Israel that would match your interest in biblical archaeology, to which I would add schools in Jordan, especially Yarmouk University in Irbid. Biblical Archaeology studies in this country, a la W.F. Albright, have been drying up over the past 30 years, but you can still find some good programs in confessional schools like Wheaton (well, evangelical if not confessional) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Depending upon whether you prefer archaeological theory, method, or both, you might research graduate programs with an archaeological component in Syro-Palestinian Archaeology, Near Eastern Studies, Classical Studies, and Anthropology in schools such as Arizona State University, Brown University, or Boston University.
I hope this helps. It's unfortunate that I met you too late to invite you to participate with me, along with Alexandra and some of my students, in the 2008 Season at Bethsaida/Tzer. I think it would be great to have you along. IN any event, let me know however I may be of service to you in the pursuit of your studies and career.
If you are interested in studying abroad, namely Israel, you may find this website interesting...hope it helps
