I am very interested in the archaeology of death; meaning burial and the ritual surrounding it also in human Osteology. I Would be really interested to hear from people from other countries and the burial rituals of all archaeological periods.
You should build it and see what it is like.
I know people here in Canada that build large Mongolian huts in the summer and live in them.
yea..it also laves scope for work in experimental archaeology!!! seems like great fun id love to give it a go!! ive been saying for ages me and my boyfriend (hes an archaeologist too) should build a bronze age style round house in his parents garden…
It allows you to guess about the people.
Who they were, what they we like, what they thought about.
In away you learn more about them because you have to think about them on a human level, what they were as people.
