As an illustrator I have worked a number of digs with field schools. A few of these were quite good and had all the elements of a proper university course such as lecutures, exams, reading assignments and research papers. Students learned about, a...

There's nothing else to say. I totally agree. It even sounds strange to me, that I should pay for my own work. Of course I say it from the "graduated in archaeology" point of view. On the other side I guess the field schools are not ment (or shuld...

where is the museum you're working? Your outfits look very similar to those I had to wear last year working up at Kierrikikangas in the north of Finland!

I actually quite enjoyed the public aspect when I was working with a neolithic village reconstruction. We were pretty lucky to have excavations around the area to work on as well.

Hope you're enjoying it!

Hi, Emma tnx for your friendship. Scandinavian prehistory is little mentioned in my studies so I am very interested to hear from someone who has experience with the matter. All the best :D

Hi, Emma, I wanted to find out more about your work in the Caucasus. I've been to Georgia several times, and I've visited many of the sites there. What was the name of the site you were excavating? Which Georgian archaeologists were you working with?
