ArchaeologyNet

A business network for archaeologists

Hi everyone,
This group I've created is intended to create a link between people interested in Classical archaeology. This means Ancient Greece and Rome and also the "barbarian" world. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.
Feel free to share information about any aspects related on the topic.

Do you have any links to the new finds at Pompeii and Herculaneum? I know there have been more people found, but have been unable to find any articles. Thanks!!!

Here are two downloadable archaeological reports for Pompeii (Porta Stabia). Unfortunately they are from the 2005-2006 season. I think you should contact the people who are actually digging there in order to have the latest information. If you need any info on the ancient cities from Roman Dobrudja (Scythia Minor), feel free to contact me. I actually do research at Tropaeum Traiani, Dinogetia and Halmyris. All the best

Thank you for the link!!! Give me something else to read besides ancient bison osteology. I spent two wonderful weeks in Rome in 2006, and have always been obsessed with the Roman world. I hope we can exchange some ideas and so on. Thanks again. I am in town once a week from the field, and will check regularly when I come to town.
