my local senior archaeodude, just emailed me saying...... Ive booked you on the site, every teusday till you've finnished college. hope thats ok, send you the details later! How random, but i take it thats a good sign! lol I'll update you all on the site when i can, its a Cairn, previsouly excated (poorly) by ametures in the 1980's, they didnt even fill it properly when they where done, evidence ranging back to the mesolithic, so it should be interesting! Experimental Archaeology

I just made a nice flint necklace! nothing like some Experimental archaeology to cheer you up. If you want to make one its really easy..... You need: a peice of Flint a tree some wire and a leather "thong" Step one: Get a piece of wood from the tree (literally a stick) Step two: if you need to sand it down to desiered length/colour/thickness. Medieval Frescoes in Bulgaria

On May 10th I am off for nearly three weeks to Bulgaria to chase Medieval Frescoes in abandoned churches and mon asteries with Balkan Heritage. I shall be returning with lots of photos and hopefully some good stories. Anyone with information please let me know. Gerald

My first entry. Nothing very exciting going on right now. Nothing to do with Archaeology anyway. Starting May 19 I'll have started a three week arch. field school. I will post things about it here. Starting June 17, I'll have begun my summer internship at the Oshkosh Public Museum in Oshkosh, WI. Information about said Internship is forthcoming.
